Great Links to Kick off Your Week

Feb 23, 2009 by

Happy Monday everyone!

Last week was a busy one, so I didn’t get around to sharing some of the great links that came my way. Below are just a few, packed with information and tips to get your week revved up! (If you want to see what I bookmark on a more regular basis, check out my Delicious account.)

  • A Quick ‘n Dirty Guide to Setting up Social Media Monitoring – Great post from Social Media Explorer with a simple, 5-step system for “small business owners and other marketers who are usually already stretched thin” to keep on eye on what is being said about them and their businesses. P.S. This goes for stretched thin nonprofits as well.
  • 5 Free Ways to Convert Blog Posts & Documents to PDF – Blog posts do not get easier or more practical than this. PDF is a near-universal format at this point and if you want to make your information more accessible (not to mention safer) to transmit electronically, this post is for you. Plus: free!
  • Bamboo Project Readers’ Guide to Blogging for Personal Branding – As usual, Michele Martin brings together cool people and great ideas in an easy to read and use format. This post shares insights from her readers on blogging for personal branding, how its worked for them and the pitfalls to avoid.
  • Getting Social Media Approved by Your Boss – If you are one of the many (younger) workers struggling to explain and engage your superiors in social media, this post is for you. With clear strategies on building a pilot project, counter arguments to the most common objections and some robust commenting, you should have plenty of ideas to get you started.

Have a great week!

This is a wonderful post and may be one that should be followed up to see how things go

A comrade e-mailed this link the other day and I will be desperately awaiting your next piece of writing. Keep on on the very good work.

  • Thanks Walton, I appreciate it!
